"Terence Donovan"
Italian actress Claudia Cardinale posing for photographer Terence Donovan whose foot is in the picture, London, 1962.

This is one of my favorite photographs. I used to have this image on my business card while I worked at a celebrity photo agency Retna. The image is a bit grainy as I scanned it from the said card.

Addicted to Love

One of my favorite photographers is legendary Terence Donovan. When he died he left behind an archive of over one million pictures, a comprehensive visual history of British culture and fashion.

His photos are sexy and provacative yet classy and timeless.  Donovan both captured and inspired one of the most influantial and still heavly copied fashion trends of the 1960’s-the Mod style. He also directed Robert Palmer video Addicted to Love. And I am addicted to his photographs.
